About

A warm welcome to my blog. A warm welcome to the recesses of my mind. A warm welcome to healthy discussions on anything that can build humanity, especially African. I invite you to mentally engage the readers by telling us what you think on things at hand. I hope this blog, with the impending discourses, snippets, the ” how to do” etcetera will help to enrich an ardent mind by informing, educating and provoking (to creatively think).Thank you! 1. Well done for setting up this blog which I find to be informative and interesting. I relate to most of the cultural material within your blog, and share some of the more philosophical thoughts and theories. I applaud you for curating some key areas of Shona/Zezuru knowledge and cultural norms and nuances which otherwise would have been lost – very well done.
I left Zimbabwe in 1975, having attended Waddilove Mission for my primary and junior secondary education. Your writings evoke memories of my earlier life before I left Zimbabwe, or Rhodesia as it was colonially called then.
I subscribe to your blog of course and I wish there were more like you.
    Yours truly – Maketa

  2. Great blog! Thank you very much. The article on Rhodes was well written and managed to capture the spirit of the man. I believe understanding Rhodes and his story helps explain the Zimbabwe we have today. Keep on writing! Thank you.
